Hobbyist / Non-Breeder Ayam Cemani Juvenile Pullet Age 16 – 20 Weeks Old

Premium, hand-raised, pure black female Ayam Cemani pullets. ”Tier 1” Hobbyist/Non-Breeder quality Cemani pullets are dedicated to families and enthusisats who are looking to enjoy the breed, but are not interested in breeding. These are excellent specimens and representations of the breed, however fall short on very minute details required for these birds to be considered “Breeder” stock. The entire birds are fibro saturated and entirely black, however, the lost points are located in the mouth, specifically if and when they show any shades of ligher gray on the roof of the mouth and or underneath the tongue. The tongue itself is dark gray. There is never any pink in the mouth, for Breeders or Hobbyist/Non-Breeders, as this characteristic would be considered an instant disqulaification. We hope that by classifying Breeders as the best representation of the breed, approved by us, and intended for Breeding purposes, that folks will not dilute the quality of the breed by attempting to breed Hobbyist/Non-Breeder quailty. In addition, a contract will follow the transaction to ensure that Hobbyist/Non-Breeders birds are agreed by both parties that such birds will never be bred.

These females have been started for you and are 16 to 20 weeks of age. They have been fed 24% protein starter/grower crumbles and should be kept on starter/grower feed until they begin to lay at approximately 20 to 25 weeks. At 16 weeks old, they are mostly feathered out, so they won’t require a heat lamp as long as they are kept dry and out of the wind. They only available upon SPECIAL REQUEST.
